Call the ADA. That is illegal.

These predated the ADA and weren’t placed in violation. When the ADA was passed, instantly millions of locations nationwide were out of compliance, but are not characterized as violations. When the City replaces the hydrant in the future, it’ll be placed in a manner that complies with the most current version of the law.

This is not a violation.
