Is PG&E serious with this nonsense? There is a heavy log suspended in mid-air by active power lines just waiting on high winds to bring it down on someone's head or car. This is nuts.

Worked outside,for the phone Co.for 23 yrs, Trust me,that poke isn't going anywhere.It's still hooked up to the strand.Main pole will come down ,first.Phone co.still has to move term,and drops,first.

Just called PG&E to report. They sent a crew out right away. One of the workers called me. Here's what he said: the old pole was left because of the telephone hardware that was attached to it. PG&E is not able to transfer that hardware to the new pole. This issue should be reported to AT&T and Comcast. Whichever company transfers their equipment last is required to take the pole with them. If you don't get a response from either of them, report to the CPUC.
