Description
Wood, appliances, ladder. Looks like someone is building a house in the sidewalk. There are also two abandoned cars across the street with piles of garbage. Many homeless individuals have taken over these blocks and the park for years. Please help clean up the neighborhood.

November 2021, Oakland City Council met in closed session about Neighbors Together Oakland’s recent lawsuit against the City of Oakland for failure follow its Encampment Management Policy and provide desperately needed services and housing to Oakland’s 300 plus homeless encampments and over 9,000 unhoused neighbors.
Disappointingly, the following day, Neighbors Together Oakland learned that the City intends to fight the case, even though the only remedy Neighbors are asking for is that the City follow its own policy they unanimously voted for in 2020. That’s it, no damages or monies, just simple accountability.
Yes fight the case using taxpayers money.
